About...

I have always drawn, sketched, and illustrated. I have so many memories from my childhood that involve drawing a cartoon or painting a landscape. Art was definitely my favorite class.

This interest in art led me to seeing design in everything. After 15 years of working in Visual Arts and Graphic Design I am still driven by creating logos, architectural renderings, paintings, cartoons, photography; you name it. I enjoy thinking outside of the box and coming to a solution that is unique and surprising.

Art is also about being inspired by others. The Creative Process and seeing how creative people attack different 'problems' is something that never gets old and always has lessons to teach me. I've been inspired at many different times in my life by Bill Watterson(Calvin & Hobbes), Jim Davis(Garfield), Thomas W Schaller(Watercolor Renderings), Kevin Cornell(Illustrator), and now there are new Graphic Designers that I'm learning to appreciate and glean from. Many of these are found at logopond.com, illypads.com and thebestdesigns.com.
